The Ian Furness Show

THE IAN FURNESS SHOW PRESENTED BY SNOQUALMIE CASINO, SEATTLE’S CLOSET SPORTSBOOK

Furness Show 6-6: David Locke, Corbin Smith, NBA Finals, Daily Power Play,

The Mariners lost last night in a disappointing effort, but the passion is still there in fans. What Ian witnessed last night showed that even through frustration, fans are still enjoying the season.  David Locke joins Ian to talk about the NBA Finals between the Celtics and Mavericks. Plus, an honest look at the timeline for the return of the Sonics.  The Mariners game was disappointing last night, but at least in a one run situation, it was Julio heating up.  Corbin Smith, Locked on Seahawks joins Ian to provide more insight on PJ Walker, the newest quarterback for Seattle. Corbin says the command he's seeing from Geno Smith stands out the most in OTA's. What are reasonable expectations for DK Metcalf this season when it comes to targets, and what will the distribution look like between the top three receivers?  The NBA Finals start tonight and the Celtics and Mavericks - where is your interest level? Also, what's the latest with a team heading to Vegas - and how does that affect Seattle?  Daily Power Play!  Will Dan Hurley bypass a shot at a 3-peat at UConn to take over the Lakers? We hear from Geno Auriemma who had some insight on why a coach would leave college basketball. Bruce Feldman told Gregg Bell about the superconferences we could see in the future, and it might just mean the end of a lot of varsity collegiate sports. And finally, a listen back to Anne McCoy who talked to Ian yesterday about the sanctity of college athletics.
