It’s soup season and we’d rather talk soup than the Mariners offseason, but we can’t avoid it.
Jim Bowden was on with Softy yesterday and said what the Mariners have done (or haven’t done) this offseason makes him want to throw up. Chuck has already rated it as an F-, which is hard to argue, but is there still time for them to salvage this thing before the season starts?
They have the draft and develop part down, but for some reason this team continuously struggles with the trade part and repeatedly fails to do what it takes to finish the rebuild and take advantage of this “championship window.”
:30- Are the Kraken already in must-win territory? Everett said they were yesterday and then they lost to Anaheim last night.
The only team behind Seattle in the Pacific Division is the Sharks; can they turn this thing around and make a surge towards a playoff spot or is it over?
