MLB Should Stop Pussyfooting Around with ABS

Major League Baseball announced it will begin implementing a challenge system based on the electronic Automated Ball/Strike system and DP is more than ready for it. In fact, he’s ready to discard the unnecessary challenge system and just let every pitch be called by ABS right now since it’s obviously where we are headed.

Dan Patrick: “It’s going to be taking over baseball that, if you want to get the ball and strikes correct then just have it. You’ll still have to have an umpire, there’s not going to be a robot out there…If the goal is to get it right, and you have the technology to get it right, then use it! I think it’s going to be part of the fabric of the game. They’re going to dip their toe in it, and I think by 2030 this is how baseball is going to be called.”
