Lakers superstar LeBron James was asked about their offensive struggles after their game 1 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder last night and he simply reminded everyone that it may have something to do with the NBA’s leading scorer, Luka Dončić, not being on the floor. DP rejects the idea that LeBron was making excuses considering he has a very valid point.
Dan Patrick: “I didn't look at it as LeBron needs an excuse. I think he was just reminding people of: ‘We got to the second round; we weren't supposed to beat Houston. We got to the second round. I'm out here on an island, just reminding you, we don't have Luka (Dončić).’ I didn't view it as an excuse, but then I don't see LeBron through the lens that people do who don't like him.”
