The Arizona Cardinals got rolled by the San Francisco 49ers in Mexico City last night on Monday Night Football to fall to 4-7 on the season. Quarterback Kyler Murray sat out his second straight game with a hamstring injury and had to watch Colt McCoy and Trace McSorley combine for a QBR well under 40. And with HC Kliff Kingsburyās seeming inability to win games in the second half of the season, it appears the Cardinals are headed for a rebuild. Dan worries that Murrayās inflated contract will sink the Cardinalsā rebuilding efforts.
Dan Patrick:Ā āYou got a coach who has failed miserably in the second half of seasons, and you start to wonder, when does that contract with Kyler Murray look like itās an anchor? Itās gonna be something thatās gonna keep you, itās going to sink you I think at some point...But in the NFL, it starts with the quarterback and the coach, and I think theyāve got troubles down the road with both of those positions.ā
