It may be off season, but the Seahawks have found another way to keep their spirit of competition alive.
Six Seahawks will be playing in a Call of Duty (COD) tournament alongside popular gamers and some fan teams on Thursday (March 11), according to the team. The fan teams competed against over a hundred others earlier this week to secure their place in the "Battle of the Bosses" tournament.
While it's unknown which specific title they will be playing, but it's possible that they could square off in 2020's Black Ops Cold War or the battle royale-focused Warzone, which celebrated its one-year anniversary on Wednesday (March 10).
There will be eight teams competing "Battle of the Bosses." Ugo Amadi, Carlos Hyde, Kyle Fuller, Damontre Moore, Rasheem Green, and Geno Smith are participating. Some will be playing with friends, while Moore, Green and Smith will partner up for a players-only squad, according to the team.
HawksNest, who is a Seahawks fan, YouTube and COD influencer, will be teaming up with fellow influencers NoahFromYouTube and Godzly. They collectively have 1.2 million subscribers on YouTube.
