Seahawks Training Camp Day Two: A Deal for D.K.

Just after practice finished up, the big news of the day hit as it was reported by Adam Schefter that DK Metcalf reached an agreement with the Seahawks on a contract extension for 3 years and $72 million, keeping the star wide receiver in Seattle for the near future.

Jamal Adams also was not at practice today after being allowed to get a second opinion on his finger injuries from last year. A worrying sign for the Seahawks defense looking for him to step up from a disappointing 2021 season.

The competition for Russell Wilson's replacement heats up in day 2, as both Drew Lock and Geno Smith take first team reps, but Geno still looking like he's in the driver's seat of this competition.

K.J. Wright also held his retirement ceremony with family to attend and fans get the chance to appreciate his career for the Seahawks.
