The Seattle Kraken have their first set of plans laid down formally for the 2022-23 season, announcing a six-game pre-season schedule which will open on home ice, Monday, Sept. 26 against the Edmonton Oilers at Climate Pledge Arena.

In similar vein to last year’s geographic circuit, the six games provide a first look at an expanded Kraken lineup typically inclusive of future talent and veterans. Three games on the schedule are slated for home contests at Climate Pledge Arena and the entire schedule will be exclusively against Canadian opponents, all from the Pacific Division.

The Kraken will host the Oilers and Calgary Flames on back-to-back nights, Sept. 26-27 before a quick stop at Vancouver on Thursday, Sept. 29.

Saturday, Oct. 1 will square the Kraken up with the Canucks in the preseason home finale before a pair of road contests to finish the schedule, Oct. 3 at Calgary and Oct. 7 at Edmonton.

Tickets for Kraken pre-season games are expected to go on sale at a late date.

The 2022-23 regular season schedule has yet to be announced.
