Joey Daccord is back again with the Seattle Kraken.
The 25-year old goaltender was recalled on Tuesday from the Charlotte Checkers of the American Hockey League, coming off wins in three straight AHL appearances.
Daccord will return to the Kraken with three NHL appearances this season, 0-2 with an .866 save percentage. He last appeared in net Dec. 6 against Pittsburgh, making 24 saves after replacing Philipp Grubauer in a 6-1 defeat.
Daccord has assembled an AHL season in contention with league-leading numbers, ranking fourth in goals-against-average (2.18) and save percentage (.925). He is 8-5-1 in 14 games with the Checkers.
His last appearance with the Checkers included a 32-save effort last Saturday against the Texas Stars, an 8-3 win which followed a 2-1 overtime win at Hartford on Jan. 12, when Daccord was named second star of the game.
Daccord joins Philipp Grubauer and Antoine Bibeau on the Kraken roster with Chris Driedger entering COVID-19 protocol on Sunday.
Forward Max McCormick has been re-assigned to Charlotte.
