The Seattle Kraken recovered from an early first period deficit with four unanswered goals while goaltender Philipp Grubauer turned in a 37-save performance to deliver a 5-2 victory over the Washington Capitals, Sunday at Climate Pledge Arena.
Extinguishing a six-game losing streak, the Kraken became only the third team to beat the Capitals (11-3-5) in regulation, enjoying a four-point game from Jaden Schwartz while Calle Jarnkrok supplied his first goal of the season along with an assist.
