Cale Makar scored a pair of goals with a three-point night and Andre Burakovsky had two power play goals to get the Colorado Avalanche off and running, finishing in a 7-3 win over the Seattle Kraken on Friday night at Climate Pledge Arena.
The Kraken, who fell behind as deep as a 7-0 deficit in the third period before scoring the final three goals of the game, will set out on a mission to break a string of six straight losses on Sunday when they host the Washington Capitals at 6pm PT at Climate Pledge Arena.
Jordan Eberle spoiled Darcy Kuemper's shutout bid with a third period power play goal, as the Kraken have scored a power play goal in three of the last four games.
