Third period goals by Jared McCann and Yanni Gourde nearly rolled the Seattle Kraken out of a three-goal deficit in the third period, but the Chicago Blackhawks closed it out with a late empty-net goal to send the Kraken to a 4-2 defeat on Wednesday at Climate Pledge Arena.
The Kraken (4-11-1, 9 points) dropped their fifth loss in a row as they outshot Chicago, 33-19 for the game. Chicago got a multi point game from Patrick Kane (1g-1a) while reigning Vezina Trophy winner Marc-André Fleury had 31 saves in the win.
