With all the amazing restaurants around Washington, you can find a delicious meal everywhere you turn. What really makes a dining experience memorable, however, is if the restaurant has charm and character — decor dating back decades lining the wall, endearing service that makes you feel like old friends or even menus with dishes so beloved they haven't changed in years.

According to a list compiled by LoveFood, the "most charming restaurant" in all of Washington is The Depot Restaurant. This Seaview spot has a storied past as a working train station but has since transitioned into an eatery serving delicious fresh seafood, renowned wines and more incredible menu offerings. The Depot Restaurant, which has a 4.7 star rating on Google and nearly 1,000 reviews, is located at 1208 38th Place.

Here's what LoveFood had to say about this "delightful" restaurant:

"Built in 1905 and originally used as a train station for the Clam Shell Railroad, The Depot Restaurant is now a fine dining restaurant with an international wine list and oodles of charm. The restaurant is just blocks away from the Pacific Ocean and has a menu of fresh seafood, salads, vegetarian dishes, and steaks. There's a heated patio, plus the spot retains some original features, including a ticket window – which is now the perfect place for people watching."
