We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of legendary air personality Bob Rivers, a beloved member of the Seattle radio family. Bob was a fixture on Seattle morning radio for 25 years, gracing the airwaves of 102.5 KZOK, 95.7 KJR-FM, and 99.9 KISW. He was well-known for his famous Twisted Tunes parodies. Bob passed away this morning in New Hampshire after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was 68 years old.

Bob is survived by his wife, Lisa; his sons, Andrew and Keith (wife Leanne); and his granddaughters, Hazel and Georgia Rivers. He was the eldest of seven siblings, including sisters Beth Doornweerd, Katherine Kenney, Mary Redman, Patty Tedford, and brothers Michael Rivers and Richard Rivers.

A private service will be held on Friday in Claremont, NH, with a public memorial in Seattle to be announced.
