Each Wednesday, Dick Fain makes six picks to win the PGA Tour golf tournament of the week, putting $10 imaginary dollars on the line on each golfer he selects. This week for the U.S. Open at Winged Foot Golf Course in New York, Dick made his selections. But before we get to those, let's see where he stands on the year so far.
Two weeks ago (because there was no tournament last week), at the PGA Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Course in Atlanta, Dick did not select Dustin Johnson, who ended up winning the tournament... Sort of...
Because of the staggered scoring at the Tour Championship, as Dick explains in the clip below, and his pick of Xander Schauffele at 11/1, that means Dick actually DID make money for the tournament- 55 fake dollars in fact! So Fain entered that week down $27 and is now up $28! So what does he see happening at the U.S. Open this week?
