20 In '20: #14 Max Borghi

Washington State v Washington

Everyone seems to make their annual year-in-review lists. Not me. Time to look into the ol' crystal ball. Time to predict the future.

As we celebrate a new year in sports, I give you the 20 Seattle sports figures I predict we'll talking about most often in 2020...

20 In '20: #14 Max Borghi

Could a running back actually emerge as the focal point of the Cougar offense?

Max Borghi rushed for 817 yards and added 86 catches for 597 during his final season operating out of Mike Leach’s Air Raid. As the team’s best player, he wants more touches, and new Head Coach Nick Rolovich has all but Twitter-promised him he will.

Borghi runs the 40 in under 4.5 and plays with power. The NFL is already monitoring the soon-to-be junior. Even with his foot still planted firmly in his mouth from failed Apple Cup proclamations, Borghi should run (and catch) wild this fall, and the nation will take notice.
