Washington State head football coach Mike Leach is reportedly leaving the program.
According to Bruce Feldman, Leach is leaving for Mississippi State in the SEC.
Leach guided the Cougars to a 6-7 record this season and a loss in the Cheez-It Bowl to Air Force.
Wazzou was 55-47 in 102 games under the "Pirate King" with six bowl appearances in eight seasons.
2018 was Leach's best season in Pullman, the Cougs went 11-2 and beat Iowa State in the Alamo Bowl.
Leach has produced a pair of NFL quarterbacks with Luke Falk and Gardner Minchew each seeing playing time at the next level.
