Duane Brown active vs. Rams; L.J. Collier, Marquise Blair healthy scratches

Los Angeles Rams v Seattle Seahawks

SEATTLE -- Among 106 players on two teams playing on just three days rest, only three players are unavailable for Thursday night's game between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks due to injury.

Backup guard/center Ethan Pocic is the only injury scratch for the Seahawks as he continues to work back from a mid-back injury that has sidelined him now three games. Left tackle Duane Brown is active after being listed as questionable with a biceps injury. However, head coach Pete Carroll said Wednesday that Brown should be fine and was expected to be available.

For the Rams, linebacker Bryce Hager (shoulder) and former University of Washington safety Taylor Rapp (ankle) are out. The rest of the inactives for Thursday night's game are healthy scratches.

Four members of this year's rookie class is inactive for Seattle. Defensive end L.J. Collier and safety Marquise Blair - Seattle's top two selections in this spring's NFL Draft - are among the Seahawks' inactives. Wide receiver John Ursua and Gary Jennings are also inactive for the game along with cornerback Akeem King and safety Adrian Colbert.

For the Rams, wide receiver Nsimba Walker, cornerback David Long, linebacker Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, center Coleman Shelton and tackle Bobby Evans join Hager and Rapp in street clothes.

The lost time both Collier and Blair had due to injuries during the offseason/preseason is part of the reason they are among the inactives when the team is fully healthy. They're still making up for lost time and trying to fit into the picture during games that actually count.
