  • And there are many of them. We start in the early second quarter with Seattle down 14-0. Defense has not been good today. At all. But this Russell Wilson to Tyler Lockett touchdown on third and goal cuts the 49ers lead in half.
  • Two plays later, Jimmy Garoppolo fumbles! Ziggy Ansah knocks the ball loose and recovers it at the Santa Clara 27! Seattle gets inside the 10, but Wilson is incomplete trying to tie it up on 3rd and Goal back at the 13. Seahawks cut the lead further to 14-10 now.
  • Seattle closes the first half out with another Jason Myers field goal, bringing us to a halftime score of 17-13. Then on the first drive of the second half, Rashaad Penny and Chris Carson lead the team down the field where Carson punches it in. Seahawks lead, 20-17.
  • On the ensuing kickoff... We saw this man do it so many times down the street. And now he does it at the CLink. Dante Pettis goes 100 yards to the house. 49ers reclaim the lead, 24-20. Back and forth we go...
  • And on Seattle's next drive, they get it right back. Russell Wilson to David Moore gives the Seahawks a 27-24 lead. Three touchdowns in less than eight minutes, but Seattle leads this thing by three.
  • We jump ahead to the middle of the fourth quarter where the game is now tied at 27. Wilson overthrows Metcalf on a would-be touchdown, forcing Jason Myers to hit from 44. It's good, and Seattle leads 30-27 with 4:40 left in the game. Anyone biting fingernails?
  • Niners then have a 3rd and 1 from their own 36. Garoppolo goes over the middle to Pettis. And HE DROPS IT. Oh, man. Wow. What a drop. Santa Clara's three and out gives the ball back to the Seahawks...
