Last night at Tahoma High School in Maple Valley, two longtime NPSL rivals met when Kentwood and Tahoma hooked up. Kentwood is in second place in the league's Cascade Division while Tahoma, in a rebuilding year under first year coach Rick Tripp, needed a win to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Kentwood took a 2 point lead with 3.4 seconds left. Both teams took a timeout and that set up this! Junior JC Humphrey, who has missed most of the last two years with knee injuries, goes coast to coast for the pull up 30 foot game winning three pointer. There is nothing like a game winning three in basketball, especially when it keeps your playoff hopes alive and comes on your home floor!
