Seahawks Head Coach Pete Carroll joined Softy and Dick Fain earlier today, which included an update on Frank Clark's contract extension and injury updates to D.J. Fluker and Chris Carson. Carroll also explained why Jordan Simmons will start on Monday Night Football against the Vikings at right guard.
Carroll on Frank Clark contract extension discussions:
"We Love Clark, he's having a great season. I'm really proud of how he's matured into a terrific leader for us..."
Carroll on being more cautious about Fluker returning if Seahawks lock up playoff spot:
Absolutely not. We've got games to play, we've got a long way to go..."
Carroll on Chris Carson finger injury:
"Doesn't look like it's going to be a problem, (Carson) seems to think it will be just fine. "
