Rockies' Trevor Story Hits Longest Home Run in Statcast Era

Colorado Rockies shortstop Trevor Story belted the longest home run in the Statcast Era, with a 505-foot monster to to deep left centerfield against the San Francisco Giants on Wednesday night. Story had already hit his 29th home run during the bottom of the 29th inning, even while falling down: 

Then during the bottom of the 4th, Story got Andrew Suarez again, but this time with the 505-footer:

To put that in perspective, the Space Needle is 605'.
