Ken Griffey Jr singles to right centerfield, advancing Cora to third. Edgar Martinez drives a single to left field, bringing Cora and Griffey home.
Winning pitcher was Randy Johnson for the Mariners and the losing pitcher for the Yankees was Jack McDowell.
