Three-Run Walkoff Strikeout in Baseball

Have you ever seen a game end on a strikeout? Maybe you have. Unlikely, but maybe. How about a three-run walk-off strikeout? Now there's something nobody has seen. Until now.

The Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, an affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, used a five-run ninth inning to beat the Burlington Bees, an affiliate of the Los Angeles Angels, over the weekend, but the most impressive part of the victory is how they completed the comeback.

Down two, with two outs and the bases loaded, Nic Pierre was at the plate for the Rattlers with an 0-2 count. Pierre swung and missed, but the ball got behind the catcher. An errant throw to first base allowed all three runners on-base to cross home and provide the Rattlers with a three-run walk-off strikeout to win the game. No, nobody has ever seen this happen before. Watch the insanity below.
