If one off-field factor has become clear over the last few years heading into the NFL Draft, it's that social media can cost players tons of money. Old tweets and posts from many years in the past have cost players draft spots and thus, cold hard cash.
In the case of Seattle Seahawks first round draft pick Rashaad Penny, his old social media posts only help endear him to his new team and fan-base. Penny tweeted these in the last few years about rivals of the Hawks.
Meanwhile, on the field, Penny seems like a perfect fit for the Seahawks working with an offensive line that made backfield hits on running backs a commonality in 2017.
