Richard Sherman weighs in on Church hit to Gronk

If there is one player on the Seahawks that always voices their opinion, it's Richard Sherman. The 29-year-old and seven-year veteran has seen his fair share of penalties for defensive pass interference, holding, and often explains why the NFL favors offensive players. Yesterday, Sherman took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the Barry Church, targeting Rob Gronkowski's upper body, as seen below.

Gronkowski suffered a concussion and did not return to the game. This isn't the first time Sherman expressed his opinion on the rule, even writing in 2013 for Sports Illustrated that he would consider changing the "defenseless receiver" rule. The defenseless player rule was implemented in 2010 and is defined by the league here

Do you agree with Richard Sherman that the rule needs modifying, or should it remain the same? Comment below.
