Jake Arrieta, star pitching formerly with the Chicago Cubs, is a free agent this off-season and attracting many possible landing spots. Is one the Seattle Mariners? Well, his family took an "impromptu" trip to the Emerald City and his wife posted pictures on Twitter.
Could this mean Jake Arrieta is about to become a member of the Seattle Mariners? We can only speculate. But who really takes a vacation to Seattle when it's 40 degrees, raining cats and dogs and windy? Beautiful weather, indeed.
In 2017, Arrieta was 14-10 with a 3.53 in 30 starts. From 2015-16 though, Arrieta was sensational, winning the Cy Young in 2015 and going a total of 40-14 with a 2.39 ERA in the two years.
