Duane Brown active against Falcons, Thomas Rawls a healthy scratch

Washington Redskins v Seattle Seahawks

SEATTLE -- Left tackle Duane Brown and active and available for Monday night's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Running back Thomas Rawls is a healthy scratch.

Brown sustained a sprained ankle in last week's victory over the Arizona Cardinals. He was unable to practice all week but went through pregame warmups with head coach Pete Carroll, offensive line coach Tom Cable, assistant line coach Lemuel Jeanpierre and general manager John Schneider all keeping a close eye. Brown shook hands with Carroll and offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell at the conclusion of the workout before returning to the locker room.

Matt Tobin practiced at left tackle all week for the Seahawks and would play if Brown is unable to handle the workload on his ailing ankle.

Eddie Lacy, Mike Davis and J.D. McKissic will handle the running back duties for Seattle against the Falcons. Lacy is back in the lineup after missing last week's game with an ankle injury. Davis is in uniform for the first time since being promoted from the practice squad earlier this week.

Chancellor was ruled out on Saturday and his status is still in doubt after injuring his neck last week against the Cardinals. Chancellor spent part of the week getting evaluations from doctors about the extent of the injury and what the next steps would be in the process. Carroll did not have any firm update on his status on Saturday despite an NFL Network report saying Chancellor is likely to be out for the season.

Terence Garvin will take the strong-side linebacker snaps for Wilhoite. Garvin started the season opener against Green Bay as Wilhoite also missed that game with a calf issue.

Defensive tackle Jarran Reed is inactive due to a hamstring strain sustained last week in Arizona. Left guard Luke Joeckel is out for a fifth straight game as he recovers from knee surgery last month. He's expected to return to practice next week.

Rawls, defensive tackle Garrison Smith and defensive end Quinton Jefferson are the healthy scratches for the game.

Running back Devonta Freeman is out due to a concussion for the Falcons. He was unable to practice all week and declared out on Saturday.  Punter Matt Bosher, who was listed as questionable with a left ankle injury, is active for the Falcons.
